A miniature copy of a tradition luxurious retro classical Chinese Chippendale double bed. The elliptical canopy frame is decorated on the front panel and the back panel with openwork carving. The panels on the ends of the head and foot of the bed are shaped to follow the curve of the canopy. Matching bolsters are placed at either end of the bed. The mattress is set into the box-style base which is supported on short cabriole legs at each corner. The bed measures 8 1/8" x 4 1/2" wide x 7-3/8" high and is in a dark walnut finish.
